Pre-employment and periodical health examinations, job analysis and placement of workers

Bull World Health Organ. 1955;13(4):495-503.

Abstract

A short survey has been given on the purpose and methods of pre-employment and regular examinations and job analysis. Placement of workers from the health point of view must be carried out according to the physical and mental demands of the work and the qualifications of the individual worker to fulfil those demands. Although the principles of the placement process are known, there is a great need for research into some leading problems.
