This is a summary of a systematic review evaluating the evidence regarding the potential benefits and harms of medical and/or surgical strategies used to manage postpartum hemorrhage (PPH). Strategies for preventing PPH were not addressed in the review. The systematic review included 68 unique studies published from 1990 to November 2014.
