Abstract

Innate immunity is increasingly recognized to contribute to the pathogenesis of neurodegenerative disorders. In this issue of Neuron, Dejanovic et al. (2018) and Litvinchuk et al. (2018) describe mechanisms by which the complement system influences tau-mediated degeneration in mouse models of tauopathy.
