Allergic contact dermatitis to cocamidopropylbetaine in hair shampoo

Abstract

Allergic contact dermatitis to shampoo is rare. Report of a patient with widespread dermatitis caused by contact allergy to Kathon CG and cocamidopropylbetaine in shampoo used is presented.
