Abstract

The case report of a hemoperitoneum from a spontaneously ruptured liver cell adenoma with the histological picture of hepatic peliosis is presented. Clinical aspects of liver cell adenomas and the relationship between oral contraceptives and hepatomas are discussed on the basis of the literature.
