AIDS Policy Law. 1998 Jul 24;13(13):suppl 1-2.

Abstract

AIDS: Legislatures in many States have passed or are considering statutes that impose tougher penalties on those who knowingly expose others to HIV infection. Florida, New Jersey, Missouri, Iowa, and Washington created tougher penalties for people who knowingly expose others to HIV. Pennsylvania and Rhode Island reviewed their current HIV-specific offenses and changed these offenses to include other activities that could be subject to criminal prosecution.
