Abstract

Symptomatic postmenopausal women do not accept Hormone Therapy for longer time periods that might also serve the purpose of prevention. Main objectives are bleeding problems, breast tenderness, weight gain and fear of cancer. Risks of HRT may effectively be reduced by low-dose transdermal application as seen from clinical experience with Ephelia(R).
