Successful DM efforts make the case for investment in hypertension control

Why? Because data consistently show that only a small percentage of people diagnosed with this chronic condition are adequately controlled. Despite the fact that this is an obvious opportunity for improvement, few organizations have launched DM efforts specifically targeting hypertension, primarily because of the difficulty inherent in predicting ROI. However, DMA reviews two approaches that are getting notable results.
