Nandrolone (Deca Durabolin) disappears in U.S., generic may return in July

AIDS Treat News. 2002 Jun 28;(381):3-4, 1.

Abstract

The last regularly available version of nandrolone, a drug widely used to treat AIDS wasting, was suddenly withdrawn in the U.S. in May, and has largely disappeared from pharmacies. A new generic may be introduced this month; meanwhile, a compounded version may be available. We suggest some Web sites to check for background information if your doctor or pharmacy has trouble getting this drug.
