Abstract

PIP: This article reports on the results of a suit and subsequent New Jersey superior court ruling which absolved Parke, Davis & Co. and its birth control pill Norlestrin of any responsibility for the stroke and residual paralysis suffered by the plantiff. After a 6-day trial the jury declared there was no causal relationship between the pill and the stroke, no breach of warrantly, and no negligence.
