Role of body size in the relation between muscle strength and movement performance

Exerc Sport Sci Rev. 2003 Jan;31(1):8-12. doi: 10.1097/00003677-200301000-00003.

Abstract

Body size relates differently on the outcome of various tests of muscle strength and movement performance. Thus the estimation of functional performance from tests of muscle strength, and vice versa, should be based on the normalization of both muscle strength and movement performance.
