Vesicoureteral reflux in children: old and new approaches

Abstract

The clinical aspects of vesicoureteral reflux in children are analyzed, based on the different epidemiologic and clinical characteristics of the condition and its complications which include the possibility of chronic renal failure. According to the authors' personal experience, the modalities of approach to the problem are suggested.
