Electrophysiological Approaches to the Study of Bradykinin and Nitric Oxide in Inflammatory Pain

A Dickenson et al. Agents Actions Suppl. .

Abstract

These electrophysiological studies, using desensitization and selective antagonists, demonstrate a peripheral role of bradykinin in the generation of pain in the rat. In addition, nitric oxide is shown to play a complex role in peripheral and spinal events in nociception.
