Health inequalities. Measure for measure

Health Serv J. 2004 May 6;114(5904):26-7.

Abstract

National guides for assessing inequality at local level are inconsistent. A simple tool, the slope index of inequality, measures inequalities in health across the whole population of a primary care trust. The Index enables PCTs to measure inequality by health outcome and service provision.
