Abstract

Relationships of oxygen consumption (VO2, ml/min/fish), ventilation volume (Vg, ml/min/fish), stroke volume (Vs, ml/stroke/fish), respiration frequency (RF, stroke/min) and oxygen utilization (U, %) to body weight (W, g) in the carp under resting and normoxic condition was VO2 = 0.004258 W 0.780710, Vg = 1.035226 W 0.771371, Vs = 0.045311 W 0.833989, RF = -0.002949 W + 17.847743, U = 0.0015423 W + 75.666757, respectively.
