An unusual case of an extra row of eyelashes in the superior eyelid skin crease

Abstract

A diabetic patient was referred to the office for assessment of anterior blepharitis and associated tear film complications. On examination, he was noted to have bilateral, symmetrical rows of extra cilia within both upper eyelid skin creases. Differential diagnoses of aberrant cilia are discussed.
