As restorative-cosmetic dentists, we have an obligation to deliver to our patients naturally appearing restorations supported by healthy gingival tissue and bone. Incorporating orthodontics into our comprehensive treatment planning will accomplish our goals and meet or exceed patient expectations. This article reviews some of the more common indications for pre-restorative (adjunctive) orthodontics.
