Pediatric cervical spine injuries: a comprehensive review

Abstract

Introduction: Cervical spine injuries can be life-altering issues in the pediatric population. The aim of the present paper was to review this literature.

Conclusions: A comprehensive knowledge of the special anatomy and biomechanics of the spine of children is essential in diagnosis and treating issues related to spine injuries.
