Objective: To establish a HPLC fingerprint of Rosae Rugosae Flos.
Methods: Inertsil ODS-3 (4.6 mm x 250 mm, 5 microm) was used with the mixture of methanol, acetonitrile and 0.06% TFA as mobile phase. The flow rate was 1.0 mL/min, the column temperature was 32degrees C, and the detection wavelength was 254 nm.
Results: HPLC fingerprint of 9 main peaks was established preliminarily from 13 samples of Rosae Rugosae Flos which achieved the technical requirements of the fingerprint of traditional Chinese medicine.
Conclusion: The method is reliable, accurate and can be used for quality comtrol of Rosae Rugosae Flos.
