In order to ensure an adequate approach to the pharyngeal process of the parotid gland, we investigated interactions between anatomical structures of the face, jaws and neck, on the one hand, and deeply located compartments of the parotid salivary gland, on the other. We tested variants of intra- and extra-oral approach to puncture biopsy of the above compartments of the parotid salivary gland. We examined clinical and anatomical parallels of otorhinolaryngological symptoms in the case of tumor lesions of the gland.
