Abstract

Congenital anomalies of the nasal septum, except septal deviation, constitute a small portion of all congenital nasal anomalies. Congenital isolated absence of the membranous septum has not been reported in the literature before. We present a man who has congenital defect of membranous septum and who underwent an augmentation rhinoplasty with costal cartilaginous graft for his flattened nose.
