Thrombotic obstruction of aortic, mitral, and tricuspid Björk-Shiley prostheses in the same patient

Thorac Cardiovasc Surg. 1986 Jun;34(3):196-7. doi: 10.1055/s-2007-1020409.

Abstract

A case of fatal thrombotic obstruction of aortic, mitral and tricuspid Björk-Shiley prostheses in the same patient is described. This case suggests that when triple valve replacement is required the use of 3 mechanical valves should be avoided.
