A rare complication of rhinoplasty: periorbital emphysema

Abstract

Subcutaneous emphysema is a clinical entity that may be associated with trauma. Rhinoplasty is not an atraumatic procedure. This report presents a case of acute periorbital emphysema after cosmetic rhinoplasty.
