It is with great sadness that we learn of the death of Dr.Otto Schaefer. Many readers of this journal have fondmemories of Dr. Schaefer, who could be considered oneof the founders of the 'circumpolar health movement'. He was instrumental in the formation of the CanadianSociety and the International Union for CircumpolarHealth.
