Association of Adverse Childhood Experiences with Life Course Health and Development

N C Med J. 2018 Mar-Apr;79(2):99-103. doi: 10.18043/ncm.79.2.99.

Data from the 2012 North Carolina Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System show that ACEs are common among North Carolina residents, ACEs co-occur, and cumulative ACE exposure is associated with poor health outcomes.
