Early-onset scoliosis (EOS) occurs in the young child and presents with a unique and challenging treatment algorithm. Speaking generally, scoliosis presenting before the age of 10 has a more complex and challenging presentation than that of scoliosis in an adolescent. The patient’s spine and thorax are still growing, yet a focus on lung development remains critical.
