Templated bipolar electrolysis for fabrication of robust Co and Pt nanorods

Chem Commun (Camb). 2018 Sep 13;54(74):10475-10478. doi: 10.1039/c8cc05986a.

Abstract

The migration of metal ions into a nanoporous electrode was controlled using an electrophoretic effect under the influence of an external electric field based on the concept of bipolar electrochemistry. Robust, uniform and well-aligned arrays of Co and Pt nanorods were observed to form vertically against the electrode.
