Investigation of sudden infant deaths

Pediatrician. 1988;15(4):191-7.

Abstract

The diagnosis of SIDS depends on an analysis of information derived from two primary sources: the scene investigation and the autopsy examination. This paper identifies those details that an observer should look for and consider in completing a report of the circumstances of the death.
