The objectives of this report are to summarize the evidence regarding the clinical-effectiveness and cost-effectiveness of gastric pH testing for neonates to confirm nasogastric (NG) or orogastric (OG) feeding tube placement. An additional objective is to identify evidence-based guidelines related pH testing to confirm NG or OG feeding tube placement in neonates.
