J Cell Biol. 2019 Nov 4;218(11):3535-3536. doi: 10.1083/jcb.201910040. Epub 2019 Oct 18.

Cell Biol elegantly show that chemotherapy triggers macrophage-like features in surviving cancer cells, which in turn phagocyte normal and tumor cells alike to outlast dormancy and cause relapse.
