Stroke is a major global health problem with different expressions among the globe but with a significant impact in the countries. The global prevalence of stroke varies from 339 to 1184 per 100,000, being higher among the more developed countries that face the problem of aging of the population. The prevalence of hemorrhagic strokes also varies among countries from 32–270 per 100,000 (Feigin 2016).
