Bilateral cardiac sympathetic denervation in children with long-QT syndrome and catecholaminergic polymorphic ventricular tachycardia

J Electrocardiol. 2020 Jul-Aug:61:32-36. doi: 10.1016/j.jelectrocard.2020.05.014. Epub 2020 May 22.

Abstract

  1. Left cardiac sympathetic denervation is reported to reduce the rate of events in young patients with channelopathy.

  2. Horner syndrome and recurrence can be seen after left cardiac sympatetic denervation.

  3. Bilateral cardiac sympathetic denervation in pediatric patient, is reported as a case report.

  4. Bilateral cardiac sympathetic denervation is a safe procedure which reduces recurrence in channelopathies.
