CME Sonography 97/Answers: Ultrasound Pathologies of the Hip Abstract. Abstract: Hip pain has a broad differential diagnosis. A clinical examination is not enough to determine the underlying cause. In most cases, sonography helps to narrow the differential diagnosis or to make a specific diagnosis. Furthermore, ultrasound allows a targeted and anatomically precise diagnostic aspiration or therapeutic infiltration. Examples are used to illustrate different pathologies by region.
Zusammenfassung. Zusammenfassung: Hüftschmerzen haben eine breite Differentialdiagnose. Eine klinische Untersuchung reicht nicht, um die zugrundeliegende Ursache festzustellen. Die Sonografie hilft in den meisten Fällen, die Differentialdiagnose einzugrenzen, beziehungsweise eine spezifische Diagnose zu stellen. Im Weiteren erlaubt der Ultraschall eine gezielte und anatomisch präzise diagnostische Punktion oder therapeutische Infiltration. Anhand von Beispielen werden unterschiedliche Pathologien nach Region illustriert.
