Adagrasib Data Create Buzz at ESMO

Abstract

In phase I/II KRYSTAL-1 trial, the KRAS^G12C inhibitor adagrasib demonstrated encouraging clinical activity against metastatic colorectal cancer, both as a monotherapy and when combined with the EGFR inhibitor cetuximab. In patients who received adagrasib alone, the disease control rate was 87% and progression-free survival was 5.6 months. Among patients who received the drug combination, the disease control rate was 100%; data on progression-free survival were immature. The findings, along with data on the KRAS^G12C inhibitor sotorasib, were presented at the 2021 European Society for Medical Oncology Congress.
