Recommended priorities for research included (1) promoting self-determination and self-efficacy of individuals with neuromotor disabilities and their families, (2) best care at the right time: evidence-based best practice care, led and navigated by families seamlessly across the lifespan, (3) strengthening connections between developmental domains to enhance function and participation, and (4) optimal dosing and timing to support adaptive bone, muscle, and brain plasticity across the lifespan.
