We report 3 cases in which the testicle was untwisted inadequately or torsion recurred soon after manipulative detorsion. While manipulative detorsion can decrease ischemia time an operation should follow as soon as possible to confirm detorsion, assure orchiopexy and prevent repetitive episodes.
