Acute pseudogout of the temporomandibular joint: a report of three cases and review of the literature

Br J Rheumatol. 1987 Feb;26(1):51-2. doi: 10.1093/rheumatology/26.1.51.

Abstract

Three cases of acute pseudogout of the temporomandibular joint are described. The rarity of pseudogout in this joint may be partly due to a failure to recognize this diagnosis as a cause of facial pain.
