Abstract

Case report of a post-partum type II epiphyseal fracture of the distal tibia in a calf. Following open reduction, the fracture was stabilised by cross-pins. A plaster of Paris cast was used as an additional support for four weeks. A clinical and radiological follow-up for five months after surgery did not reveal any complications.
