The significance of hyperplastic lymphadenopathy

Abstract

The finding of reactive hyperplasia in a lymph node removed for diagnostic purposes often induces a feeling of disappointment in the clinician. However, this review indicates that reactive hyperplasia is frequently associated with a number of well-defined clinical conditions.
