J Toxicol Clin Toxicol. 1985-1986;23(7-8):547-56. doi: 10.3109/15563658508990656.

Abstract

Fifteen cases of rhabdomyolysis-associated acute renal failure among phencyclidine (PCP) users were seen at our institution between 1979-1984. An additional 15 cases were found from the literature. These 30 cases are reviewed here with respect to the incidence of acute renal failure among PCP users, its possible pathogenesis, clinical and biochemical features, and treatment.
