The article discusses the benefits of POCT, such as rapid results, accessibility, and cost-effectiveness, alongside challenges like accuracy, regulatory concerns, and standardization. Future innovations, including integration with digital health and next-generation devices, are also explored, underscoring POCT's potential to revolutionize drug testing across various sectors.
