Ophthalmology. 1985 Sep;92(9):1266-70. doi: 10.1016/s0161-6420(85)33872-1.

Abstract

A retrospective study of suprachoroidal expulsive hemorrhage in 1638 consecutive cases of intraocular surgery in patients with glaucoma identified 12 cases. A brief summary of each is presented. The pathogenesis of suprachoroidal expulsive hemorrhage is discussed, emphasizing the increased risk of this surgical complication in patients with glaucoma.
