Abstract

By the present study it was demonstrated that the administration of an amino acid solution containing 20 essential and non-essential amino acids (Aminoplasmal L) together with a fat emulsion (Lipofundin S) and a full electrolyte solution with 10% dextrose (Sterofundin G-10) do not give rise to an increase in creatinine, uric acid, urea and bilirubin in the serum during an observation time of 11 hours.
