We present a genome assembly of Heligmosomum mixtum (Nematoda; Chromadorea; Rhabditida; Heligmosomidae). The assembly consists of two haplotypes with total lengths of 741.91 megabases and 754.62 megabases. Most of haplotype 1 (98.33%) is scaffolded into 6 chromosomal pseudomolecules, including the X sex chromosome. Haplotype 2 was assembled to scaffold level. The mitochondrial genome has been assembled, with a length of 13.53 kilobases.
