Abstract

Computer-assisted tomography of the chest is the most accurate technique in diagnostic imaging of tumoral disease of the mediastinum. It is also a reliable method of detecting lymphadenopathies and lung metastases, as well as any pathological process involving the pleura and the thoracic wall.
