[Urea treatment of Ménière's disease and other labyrinth disorders]

Abstract

Urea (9 g a day) is a very useful drug in the treatment of Meniere's disease. Results are also effective in other labyrinthine disorders (sudden deafness, tinnitus) but less constant. The mechanism of the action of urea on the pathologic labyrinth is discussed.
