J Infect. 1984 May;8(3):259-61. doi: 10.1016/s0163-4453(84)94075-1.

Abstract

At least 20 of the 50 residents of an old people's home suffered from an acute respiratory infection and four of them died. Respiratory syncytial virus was isolated from two of the patients. The importance of this virus in the elderly is probably underestimated.
