PIP: The author comments on a study by G. Zei, P. Astolfi, and S. D. Jayakar concerning the correlation between the age of a woman's husband at marriage and the age of her father at the time of her birth. The study was based on data for Italy. A reply by Zei, Astolfi, and Jayakar is also included (pp. 116-7).
