Intraspinal enterogenous cysts. A case report and review of pediatric cases in the literature

Am J Dis Child. 1978 Sep;132(9):906-8.

Abstract

A patient with an intraspinal enterogenous cyst is described. A review of the English literature disclosed 26 previous pediatric cases reported. These cases were studied in regard to clinical presentation, laboratory findings, histology of the lesion, and neurological follow-up. Although rare, enterogenous cysts should be considered where there is evidence of spinal cord compression.
