Bull Soc Belge Ophtalmol. 1994;254:45-7.

Abstract

Topical anesthesia with intravenous sedation was used in 100 cases of phacoemulsification. Results show that this technique is a good and safe alternative for retrobulbar and peribulbar anesthesia.
